ANA CRISTINA MOERI
Master in geography from the University of Zurich in Switzerland, specialist in forest carbon projects and with a course in Park Guard from SENAC / SP, she worked as senior coordinator of projects for Latin America at First Climate.
In 2011, she joined Ekos Brasil acting in the coordination of several conservation projects such as management plans, implementation of the infrastructure of the Cavernas do Peruaçu National Park and Cooperation Agreement with ICMBio. Since 2012, she has organized the Ekos Brasil Seminar (International Seminar on Remediation of Contaminated Areas) biannually. In 2017 she coordinated the launch of the Climate Commitment Program.
She is an Environmental Engineer graduated from the University of São Paulo in 2018. Between 2014 and 2015, she participated in an academic exchange program for the United Kingdom, where she studied Earth and Environmental Science at Cardiff University.
In 2017, she published the book “Energia Renovável no Brasil: Análise das Principais Fontes Energéticas Brasileiras”, published by EdUSP, in partnership with Frederico F. Mauad and Tatiana C. G. Trindade. She was an intern at Jacobs for 1,5 years, where she worked mainly with remediation and monitoring of contaminated areas, environmental licensing and due diligence projects. She currently works at the Ekos Institute as secretary of the NICOLE Latin America Network.
